Haohan Xu has a strong background in equity research, with experience at multiple financial institutions. Haohan started their career as an Equity Research Consultant at Tradition Capital Management, where they provided investment recommendations, drafted research reports, and conducted fundamental analysis. Haohan then worked as an Equity Research Associate at Evalueserve, focusing on the PRC utility sector and covering solar and PRC IPPs. Haohan later joined Orient Securities as a Senior Equity Research Analyst, specializing in the utilities sector and also assisting with coverage on environmental protection companies. Most recently, they joined China Renaissance Securities as a Senior Vice President, conducting healthcare equity research and covering a diverse range of companies in the CROs, medical device, innovative drugs, blood, Chinese TCM, and drug distribution sectors.

Haohan Xu obtained a Master's Degree in Finance, General from The Johns Hopkins University in 2013-2014. Haohan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (with a Minor in Economics) from McMaster University from 2009 to 2013. Currently, they are a CFA level 3 Candidate, attending the CFA Institute from 2018 to 2019.
