Rui Xue is a data scientist at the China Academy of Railway Sciences since July 2016, specializing in translating business problems into data solutions to support rail operations. Rui's prior experience includes a role as a research assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology, where research on customer behaviors was conducted, and data was collected and analyzed using Python and SAS. As a data analyst and IT developer intern at the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Rui developed web crawling methods in Python and improved event extraction accuracy through machine learning. Previous roles also include a marketing analyst position at Zhejiang Huatie Construction Safety and Technology Co., Ltd., contributing to a major subway construction bid, a user experience researcher intern role at Lenovo, and a marketing research analyst intern role at TNS Sofres, generating significant revenue for Canon Inc. Rui Xue holds a Master's Degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Beijing Normal University.
