Anton Laptiev, PhD, is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in leading machine learning initiatives across various industries. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Chime since April 2021, Anton has previously held significant roles at Mastercard and Intiveo, where Anton focused on product development and advanced analytics, notably in areas such as behavioral biometrics and fraud detection. Anton's earlier experience includes key contributions to automated reporting systems at adaware and an academic role at The University of British Columbia, where a doctorate in Economics was earned. Holding multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Economics and a Master’s in Operations Research, Anton possesses a robust foundation in both technical and analytical disciplines.
