Martijn Dongstra is a Mechanical Engineer at CHILL since February 2022, focusing on innovation projects for the Ministry of Defence, specifically in developing new materials and products. Prior experience includes a graduation internship that involved translating a traditional design into a Selective Laser Melting design for Magnesium AZ91, accompanied by topological and weight optimization for the Ministry of Defence. Additional roles involved working as a student assistant at Zuyd Hogeschool and volunteering at Jouw marktkraam Parkstad. Martijn Dongstra also completed an internship at CHILL, where a comprehensive test plan for a new climbing hold was developed, leading to effective mechanical property assessments. Martijn Dongstra holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Zuyd Hogeschool, obtained in 2022.
