Duncan T. Blount has extensive work experience in the mining and commodities sector. Duncan T. is currently the CEO & Director of Chilean Cobalt Corp (C3), a critical minerals exploration and development company. Prior to this, they worked as a Non-Executive Director and later as the CEO & Director of Decklar Resources Inc., an oil & gas exploration and production company in Nigeria. Duncan T. also served as the CEO & Director of Asian Mineral Resources Ltd., where they operated the Ban Phuc nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide mine in Vietnam. Blount has advisory experience as a Board Member of Ocean Minerals LLC, a deep ocean seabed minerals exploration company. Duncan T. has also served as a Director at Ponce de Leon Mining LLC. In addition, they have been a member of the Index Committee for EQM Lithium & Battery Technology Index (BATTIDX). Earlier in their career, Blount held various roles at RWC Partners, Baobab Investment Management, Everest Capital, and Ronin Capital Management.

Duncan T. Blount completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Language & World Trade from Samford University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Prior to this, they attended Brentwood Academy, although the specific duration and field of study are unknown. In 2006, Blount pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management, where they completed their studies in 2007.
