John Henderson has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. John currently serves as the President/CEO of the Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals since April 2018. Prior to this, they worked as the CEO of Childress Regional Medical Center, a rural public hospital, from August 2001 onwards. In this role, they provided leadership and collaborated with a board of directors, physicians, and a dedicated team. Before that, they served as the Controller at Denton Regional Medical Center, a subsidiary hospital of HCA, managing accounts payable and the accounting department. John worked there from May 1998 to August 2001 and essentially served as the assistant CFO.
John Henderson completed their MBA degree in Health Organization Management from Texas Tech University from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Financial Management from Abilene Christian University from 1993 to 1996. In 1992 and 1993, they attended The University of Texas at Austin, although the degree name and field of study for that period are not provided.
