Leecia Welch has extensive experience in complex litigation and civil rights class action cases focused on holding governments accountable for the well-being of children. Prior to their current role as Deputy Litigation Director at Children's Rights, Leecia held positions such as Senior Director at the National Center for Youth Law and Senior Associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP. Welch's educational background includes a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a BA in English Language and Literature from Northwestern University.
