Kristen Safier serves as the Vice President of the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute at Cincinnati Children's, a position held since February 2024. With a diverse background in legal and academic roles, Kristen was previously Senior Counsel at Children's National Hospital from 2022 to 2024 and held multiple positions at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center from 2012 to 2022, including Senior Legal Counsel and Corporate Compliance Officer. Additionally, Kristen has experience in academia, having taught health law at Northern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati. Kristen's legal career began at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, and educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Public Health from Brown University.
