April Williams, MSN, RN, CCRC, serves as the Research Team Manager and is also a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator II at Children's Mercy Kansas City, where responsibilities include managing individualized patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supervising staff. April's experience spans over two decades in pediatric care, beginning as a Care Assistant and Patient Advocate, before progressing to clinical research roles. April holds a Master’s of Nursing from Western Governors University and has a background in Counseling Psychology, holding both a Master of Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from William Jewell College. Additionally, April has experience as a Family Focus Therapist, providing therapy and support to at-risk children and families.
