Rina Sanghavi MD MBA FAAP NASPGHAN-F has a diverse work experience. Rina is currently a Professor of Pediatrics at UTSW. Rina has held various roles at UTSW since 2007, including Professor and Associate Professor. In addition, they have been the Director of the Office of Faculty Engagement and Development in the Department of Pediatrics and the Co-Chair of the Pediatric Business Strategy Group at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Rina has also served as the Director of Neurogastroenterology at UTSW. Rina Sanghavi has been involved with Children's Health since 2020, where they currently serve as the President of the Children's Health Dallas Medical Dental Staff. Rina has also held the role of President-Elect, leading various committees related to medical executive, patient safety, and quality. Rina Sanghavi pursued an MBA degree at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, starting in 2016.

Rina Sanghavi MD MBA FAAP NASPGHAN-F completed their education in a sequential manner. Rina obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from jobs in hospital medical Careers and the University of Mumbai in 2000. Rina then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pediatrics Residency Program from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University from 2001 to 2004. Following this, they received their MD degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2007, specializing in Pediatric gastroenterology fellowship. In 2018, they earned an MBA in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas. Rina Sanghavi also holds the position of Professor of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Rina has an additional certification in MBBS from the University of Mumbai.
