Andrea Brainard, CBET, CHTM, has a wealth of experience in the healthcare technology management field. Andrea started their career as a Biomedical Technician at Parkland Memorial Hospital in 1997 and then moved on to work as a Field Service Technician II at Applied Biomedical from 1999 to 2003. During their time at Applied Biomedical, they were responsible for on-site service throughout Texas and had to manage their time effectively.

In 2003, Andrea joined Children's Health as a Senior Biomedical Technician and Program Coordinator. Andrea held this role until 2012, during which they demonstrated their key strengths of organization, time management, effective communication, and customer service. Andrea also played a key role in the successful completion of a Joint Commission Inspection.

Andrea's most recent role is Senior Director of Healthcare Technology Management at Children's Health, a position they have held since 2023. In this role, they continue to provide oversight of business operations and ensures that the organization's operational and fiscal needs are met.

Andrea is also a Certified Healthcare Technology Manager (CHTM) and a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) through the AAMI, obtained in 2019 and 2009 respectively.
