Leslie Pokres has extensive experience in program and vocational rehabilitation management. Currently serving as Program Manager at the Children's Board of Hillsborough County since March 2000, Leslie provides contract oversight, monitors fiscal and programmatic elements, and coordinates community solutions for children and families. Previously, Leslie worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant for the State of Florida's Department of Education from February 1992 to March 2000, focusing on multiple West Coast Florida cities. Earlier experience includes a role as a Rehabilitation Consultant at Employee Rehabilitation Services, where Leslie assisted injured individuals in returning to employment while collaborating with various stakeholders. Leslie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Arkansas Tech University and has completed core hours towards a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of South Florida.
