Claudia Alvarez-Valber is a professional with extensive experience in social work and program management. Currently serving as a Senior Program Associate at Children and Family Futures, Claudia facilitates technical assistance on cross-systems collaboration for child welfare and substance abuse issues. Previous roles include serving as the START Program Manager at Children and Family Futures, where Claudia conducted a SWOT analysis of the organization and developed evaluation tools for substance abuse treatment programs. Earlier experience includes working as an MSW Clinical Intern at Rancho Santiago Community College District, providing case management and assessment services, and as a Bankruptcy Supervisor at Malcolm & Cisneros A Law Corporation, where Claudia managed bankruptcy filings and trained paralegals. Claudia holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in History from UCLA.
