Paige Furano is a Research Assistant at the Child Mind Institute, focusing on autism research since June 2022. Previous experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Bucknell University’s Multisensory Speech Perception Lab, where investigations centered on early speech perception and language development in multisensory contexts. Paige is currently conducting independent research on emotion perception abilities related to emotional dysregulation in individuals with ASD and social anxiety during the COVID pandemic. Leadership roles at Bucknell University include participation in the Team Leaders Round Table, LEAD Fellowship Selection, and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Additional experience encompasses internships at the Child Mind Institute and Adamas Pharmaceuticals, as well as roles at the New Canaan YMCA and The Pinnacle School, where support was provided to children with various learning and behavioral disabilities. Paige holds a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Education from Bucknell University and a high school diploma from The Ursuline School.
