Stephania Whitehurst serves as the North Texas Director of Quality Child Care for Child Care Associates since March 2016, building upon extensive experience in early childhood education and program management. Prior roles include Child Care Quality Director at Child Care Associates, and Head Start/Early Head Start Director at the Economic Opportunity Authority from June 2011 to February 2016. Additional previous experiences encompass roles such as Director of Homeless Services and Executive Director, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with policies, managing statewide programs, overseeing human resources and financial planning, as well as engaging in public relations with various stakeholders. Stephania holds a Master of Social Work from Savannah State University, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Criminal Justice from Troy University, and an Associate of Arts from Enterprise State Community College.
