Matthew First has extensive experience in advocacy and investigative roles within the social services sector. Currently serving as an Advocacy Coordinator at Child Advocates since June 2021, Matthew previously worked as an Investigator for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services from April 2018 to June 2021. Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Sports and Recreation Director at the Jewish Community Center from August 2014 to April 2018. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Houston-Downtown, earned between 2011 and 2014.
