Cheryl Powers has extensive experience in the staffing and recruitment industry, currently serving as Managing Director of Houston Sales for BGSF since August 2016, where leadership of a sales team and direction of a specialized staffing practice occur. Previously, Cheryl held the position of Vice President of Temporary Services at Align Strategic Partners and managed accounting and finance staffing at Kforce. A long tenure at Robert Half International as Senior Staffing Manager established a strong foundation in professional placement. In addition to corporate roles, Cheryl has contributed as a Court Appointed Advocate for Child Advocates, Inc. since February 2005, providing crucial support for abused and neglected children in foster care. Cheryl's career began in the U.S. Army, serving both as a Civilian Service Employee and a Reservist, which added valuable experience in operations support and management consulting. Cheryl earned an Associate degree from the University of Maryland.
