Rachel Singletary Kopel is an experienced archivist and designer with a diverse background in library and information science, graphic design, and book arts. Currently serving as an Archivist at Chihuly, Inc. since November 2018, Rachel has held various roles in the field, including Library Director and Librarian at The Art Institutes, Lead Archivist at the Center of Contemporary Art (CoCA), and Metadata Specialist at Vulcan Inc. and Museum of History & Industry. Rachel is self-employed as a designer, bookbinder, printer, and paper whisperer since 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington and a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Book Arts from the University of the Arts.
