Maya Ber Lerner began their work experience in 2005 as an SQE at Amdocs. Maya then joined Quali in 2007, starting as a Product Manager and later progressing to Director of Channel Development, VP Sales (International), VP Product Management, and ultimately Chief Technology Officer until December 2020. In December 2020, Maya co-founded Chiefy and became the company's CEO. In December 2021, they also joined the Westchester County Biosciences Accelerator as part of the 2022 Cohort Venture program, concluding their role in June 2022.

Maya Ber Lerner attended Tel Aviv University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a B.Sc degree in Biomedical Engineering. Prior to their time at Tel Aviv University, they also attended Rishonim, although the specific dates and details of their education at this institution are unknown.
