Sam Dobson is a seasoned Performance Analyst with extensive experience in rugby, currently providing expertise to the Chiefs Rugby Club since November 2022 and the Northland Rugby Union since February 2020. Sam leads the performance analysis for Northland's high performance and Mitre 10 Cup squads. Previous roles include a Performance Analyst position for Lincoln University Rugby Club and assistant roles with the Crusaders and Canterbury Rugby Union, where responsibilities encompassed video analysis and preparation of scouting materials. Sam holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Science (Performance Analysis) from Otago Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sports Science from Ara Institute of Canterbury.
