Marlon Medious

Marlon Medious has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the manufacturing and supply chain fields. Marlon started their career at O'Hare ATS in 1992 as an Operations Supervisor, where they worked until 2004. In 2004, they joined the Chicago Tribune Media Group (CTMG), where they held multiple roles including Operations Team Leader, Division Manager, and Transportation Optimization Manager. From 2012 to 2015, Marlon served as a Supply Chain Manager and later as the Supply Chain Director at CTMG. In these positions, they focused on driving continuous improvement efforts and implementing strategies to achieve breakthrough results in key performance indicators. From 2015 to 2017, Marlon held the position of Director of Supply Chain, Lean, and Safety at CTMG, where they oversaw supply chain, lean, and safety operations. Most recently, they served as the Director of Operations and Director of Manufacturing, where they were responsible for overseeing various manufacturing operations and leading a team to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Marlon Medious pursued their education starting in 1989 at DeVry University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering in 1992. Marlon then advanced their studies by completing a Master of Arts degree in Urban Ministry at Trinity International University from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, in 2013, they attended the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for two short-term courses. The first course focused on The Science of Lean Six Sigma Operations, while the second course delved into Supply Chain Management: Strategy and Planning for Effective Operations.
