Xavier Tirado serves as the Post-Secondary Education & Alumni Support Manager and Science Teacher at Chicago Tech Academy since August 2019, focusing on designing curricula for core subjects and coordinating project-based learning experiences related to environmental justice. Prior experience includes roles as a Design Fellow and Teacher Candidate at Woodrow Wilson Graduate School of Teaching and Learning, where Xavier co-designed curricular components and collaborated on education technology tools. At Oberlin College, Xavier was a Student Outreach and Success Student Associate, contributing to support initiatives for historically disenfranchised students, and was awarded a full tuition scholarship by The Posse Foundation. Xavier holds Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Sociology from Oberlin College and has also worked as a Residential Assistant and Recreational Leader, emphasizing community support and youth development.
