Leonor Torres Whitt serves as a Political Coordinator for the Chicago Teachers Union since June 2023 and has been a dedicated educator within Chicago Public Schools since August 1998, holding roles as a Teacher and Dean of Students, where Restorative Practices are utilized to address student behavior and discipline. Leonor holds a Master of Arts in School Administration from Concordia University Chicago (2010-2012) and earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Eastern Illinois University (1995-1998).
