Angela Pierce is an experienced professional with a background in criminal justice and emergency management. Currently serving as a Project Manager-Program Specialist III at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice since September 2014, Angela oversees a team working on the "Second Chance" Texas Initiated Project in the Dallas Area, collaborating with various governmental agencies and community organizations. Prior to this role, Angela worked with the Chicago Police Department as an Emergency Management Specialist, where expertise included law enforcement and safety management. Additionally, Angela has experience as a Probation Officer for the State of Illinois Cook County, administering operational procedures, and has expertise as a Hospital Tech, ensuring compliance with operational procedures. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology/Social Welfare from Dillard University.
