Sophie Gordon is an experienced film professional currently serving as a Programmer at the Chicago International Film Festival since June 2022, following a role as Associate Programmer. With a robust freelance career since 2013, Sophie has worked in various capacities, including film director, producer, assistant director, editor, and production designer. Previously, Sophie held the position of Programming Manager at the Chicago Latino Film Festival from May 2019 to July 2022, and was the Festival Registrar and Senior Programming Assistant at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival in 2018. Sophie Gordon completed a degree at Northwestern University from 2013 to 2017.
