Margaux Ziss is currently a Site Coordinator at Chicago HOPES for Kids, where responsibilities include coordinating afternoon literacy and enrichment programming for K-5 students at a domestic violence shelter and facilitating social-emotional learning. Prior experience includes roles as a Mental Health Advocate at Howard Brown Health, focusing on LGBTQ and street-based youth, and as an LGBTQ Inclusion Intern at Chicago Children's Museum. Margaux also has experience as a barista at Starbucks, managing fast-paced environments, and as an Admission Intern and Tour Guide Coordinator at Occidental College, overseeing tour guide operations. Additional roles include organizing internships at the Los Angeles LGBT Center and Community Counseling Centers of Chicago, demonstrating a commitment to social justice and community support. Margaux holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Critical Theory and Social Justice from Occidental College.
