PJ Mainville has extensive experience in the sports medical field, currently serving as the Director of Medical Services and Head Athletic Trainer for the Chicago Cubs since November 2012. Prior to this role, PJ worked with the Arizona Diamondbacks as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Minor League Medical Coordinator from November 2006 to October 2012. PJ also held the position of Minor League Athletic Trainer with the Baltimore Orioles from February 1998 to October 2006. PJ's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a focus on Athletic Training from East Carolina University (1993-1997) and a Master of Science in Performance Enhancement in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from PennWest California (2005-2006).
