Hope Harriman is a Corporate Counsel for the Chicago Cubs, serving in this role since January 2024 while also providing Human Resources and Legal Consultant services during a secondment with Sheppard Mullin. Prior to this, Hope worked as a Labor & Employment Associate at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP from October 2022 to January 2024, having previously completed a Summer Associate position at the same firm. Additional experience includes a Law Clerk role with the Federal Public Defender, where legal research and motion writing were key responsibilities, and serving as a Law Fellow at Chicago Appleseed Fund for Justice, focusing on restorative justice policy. Hope’s early career included project management at Justice Informed and an internship with the Circuit Court of Cook County. Hope earned a Doctor of Law from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
