Tim Moran has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Tim started their career as an Exploration Accountant at Conoco in 1978. Tim then worked at CB&I, holding roles such as Project Accounting Manager, Finance and Accounting Manager, and Area Finance Manager. In 1995, they were promoted to the role of Area Manager for Finance and Accounting in the Europe, Africa, and Middle East regions. From 2000 to 2004, Tim served as the Corporate Treasurer at CB&I. Tim then became the Vice President of Finance at McDermott International Inc. in 2018. Tim worked as an Independent Consultant from 2019 to 2023, taking on roles as a Senior Finance VP and an Executive Coach. After more than 40 years in various finance roles, they retired in 2019.

Tim Moran has a diverse education history. In 1971, they graduated from Harlow College with a degree in Accountancy. Tim later obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The Open University, completing their studies in 2016. In 2008, Tim attended INSEAD and received the AMP degree in Leadership. Recently, in 2022 and 2023, they enrolled at the British School of Coaching, earning an ILM Level 7 Certificate for Executive and Senior Level Coaches and Mentors in the field of Coaching and Mentoring. Additionally, in 2023, Tim became a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership.
