Alicia Foxx, PhD has worked as a Conservation Scientist at the Chicago Botanic Garden since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Scientist at the same institution starting in June 2022. Before joining the Chicago Botanic Garden, Alicia was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) until June 2022. Alicia Foxx, PhD, has an extensive education history. Alicia started their academic journey at Elmhurst University from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Alicia then continued their studies at Northwestern University, earning a Master's degree in Ecology from 2012 to 2014. Alicia further deepened their expertise in the field by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecology at Northwestern University from 2014 to 2020.
