Amalesh Sanku is an accomplished executive and educator with extensive experience in strategic marketing, product development, and leadership across various industries. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Lewis University since January 2022 and as Board Director for the Chicago Booth Angels Network since February 2020, Amalesh actively engages with early-stage startups and high-caliber investors. As the Chief Executive Officer of Sagertech Communications since July 2008, Amalesh has led the development of innovative healthcare technology solutions for pelvic floor disorders. Previous experience includes significant roles at Gateway Foundation, CIENA, E F Johnson, TMNG, Mpower Communications, and Lucent Technologies/AT&T Bell Labs, where Amalesh contributed to strategic planning and marketing efforts, corporate growth, and product management. Amalesh holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and an engineering degree from the University of Madras.
