Dennis Echevarria-Cooper is an accomplished neuroscientist currently serving as an Entrepreneurial Fellow at the Chicago Biomedical Consortium since September 2023. Prior to this role, Dennis held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine from August 2017 to September 2023, focusing on the pathogenic mechanisms of Scn2a mutations within the Kearney lab. Dennis also gained experience as a Research Technician in the Department of Neuroscience at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from January 2016 to July 2017, contributing to research under Dr. Michael Nonet. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from Northwestern University, earned in March 2023, and a Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Washington University in St. Louis, completed in May 2015.
