Dori Strickland's work experience begins in 2000 at Wrigley, where they initially served as the BrandXchange Intranet Project Leader, leading the transition from a siloed marketing organization to a collaborative global community. Dori continued to propel the evolution of the marketing organization into a cohesive global brand building community as the Knowledge Management Specialist. Dori then served as the Global Marketing Manager, overseeing global marketing strategies and communications for multiple brands. Later, they became the Global Marketing Manager for Communications & Connectivity, where they developed and executed an internal global marketing communications plan to drive alignment and engagement among Wrigley marketers worldwide. In 2014, Dori became the Global Integrated Marketing Manager, orchestrating global marketing strategy development and deployment across 180 countries and driving brand identities, cost reduction, and innovation. In 2016, they transitioned to SureCast AV as a Growth Strategy Consultant, leading branding efforts, evolving operations, and steering new initiatives to transform the business and promote diversity and inclusion in the AV industry. Currently, in 2021, Dori is the Director of Marketing Strategy at Chicago Beyond, where they are responsible for fortifying the brand strategy, developing comprehensive marketing strategies, and driving campaigns to increase awareness of efforts to drive racial equity. Dori is also focused on increasing team efficiency and deepening their understanding of the philanthropic sector to maximize impact.
