Derek Smith is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in project management and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Project Manager at CHI Engineering Services, Inc. since February 2014, Derek has also held senior engineering positions within the same company and previously worked as an Assistant Manager at West Marine. Additional experience includes a design engineer role at Howe and Howe Technologies and an internship at PSNH, where responsibilities involved creating and maintaining project schedules. Derek holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, earned in 2009.
