Sholom Langsam serves as a Chaplain for the U.S. Secret Service since February 2024 and has extensive experience in various supportive and leadership roles, including positions as Executive Director at Bais Chaya Mushka School of Los Angeles and Cheder Menachem since August 2021. As an ACS Chaplain for the U.S. Coast Guard and a Police Chaplain for the International Conference of Police Chaplains, Sholom Langsam contributes to community safety and support. Additional roles include Reserve Deputy Chaplain for the County of Los Angeles Probation Department, Volunteer Ambulance Service member with Chevra Hatzalah, and Chaplain/Reserve Officer with the Los Angeles Police Department since 2013. Furthering expertise in traditional Jewish practices, Sholom Langsam operates as a Mohel with certification from The American Board of Ritual Circumcision. Educational accomplishments include degrees and training from institutions such as the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Chief Rabbinate of Israel, and the United States Naval Academy, among others.
