Mark Contreras is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and architecture across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Chetwood Financial Limited since November 2022, Mark's previous roles include Head of Data Engineering and CTO of Future Platform at Nationwide Building Society from May 2011 to November 2022. Further experience includes managerial positions at Co-operative Financial Services and Platform Home Loans, among others, where responsibilities encompassed IT architecture, strategy management, and development. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Bristol and has a solid foundation in programming, having started their career in various analyst programmer roles in the late 1990s.
