Tommy Funk is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in land acquisitions, agribusiness, and real estate investment. Currently serving as Vice President of Land Acquisitions at Chestnut Carbon since February 2024, Tommy Funk previously advised on agribusiness growth and transition at Bridgeforth, LLP. As President and Partner at Goldcrest Farm Trust from January 2014 to March 2023, Tommy Funk oversaw the acquisition and management of over 80,000 acres of high-quality irrigated farmland. Earlier roles include Senior Vice President at U.S. Trust, where Tommy Funk managed farmland investment opportunities, and Owner of TRF Business Consulting, specializing in feasibility studies and business strategies. Tommy Funk's career began as President/COO at Sebastian Cotton & Grain, Ltd, where leadership spanned multiple locations and a significant farming operation. Tommy Funk holds a BBA in Business from the University of Mississippi and is a graduate of the National Cotton Council Leadership Program.
