Jeffrey McManus is a seasoned legislative advocate currently working at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) since April 2017, focusing on federal advocacy strategies to protect the environment and foster collaboration between NRDC and Congress. Prior to NRDC, McManus served as Program Coordinator for the University of Delaware's Special Initiative on Offshore Wind, where efforts were directed toward promoting offshore wind as a sustainable energy solution. As Outreach Manager for Atlantic Wind Connection, outreach activities were coordinated across the mid-Atlantic region. McManus's early experience includes organizing a significant offshore wind power conference for the Chesapeake Climate Action Network, advocating for clean energy with Clean Currents, intern roles at the U.S. Department of Commerce and American Red Cross, and volunteer efforts in Hurricane Katrina relief. McManus holds a BA in International Business and Management from Dickinson College, earned in 2010.
