Jackie Clevenger Warinner COT has a strong background in ophthalmic photography and technician roles. Jackie began their career at Black Hills Regional Eye Institute as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, where they performed various tasks including work-ups for a Retinal Specialist and assisting in medical records and front desk work. Jackie then worked at Magruder Eye Institute and Florida Eye Clinic, where they served as Head of the Photography Department and was responsible for all aspects of running the department. Jackie also gained experience in drawing fluorescein, starting IVs, administering Fluorescein Angiography, Fundus Photography, and training and supervising other technicians. Jackie also worked at Vitreoretinal Consultants of Texas as an Ophthalmic Photographer before moving on to WESTFIELD EYE CENTER as a COT Lane Technician. Currently, they are employed at Chesapeake Eye Care and Laser Center as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician, Head Ophthalmic Photographer, and Photographer. In this role, they run the photography department, performs various tests including Fundus Photography, Fluorescein Angiograms, and Retinal Photography, maintains equipment, trains employees, and is involved in all other aspects of ophthalmology.
Jackie Clevenger Warinner COT has a diverse educational background. In 1988-1989, they attended Liberty University, where they pursued studies in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management. Later, in 1999-2000, Jackie attended Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley, where they obtained a degree in Phlebotomy. Their field of study was specifically in Phlebotomy Technician/Phlebotomist. Additionally, Jackie has a certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician, which they obtained from JCAHPO in October 1992.
