Demetrius P. currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Cherry Health, overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources department, including talent acquisition, employee relations, onboarding, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Previously, at Priority Health, Demetrius managed people strategy and organizational development, enhancing performance through strategic partnerships with executive stakeholders. Prior experience includes positions at Progressive Insurance, where Demetrius focused on DE&I and process improvement, Fifth Third Bank as an L&D Manager supporting training and development, and Walgreens in human resources management, addressing performance and retention challenges. Demetrius holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Central Michigan University and a BS in Business Administration & Leadership from Cornerstone University.
