Peter Hu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple research positions. Peter started their career as a Technical Intern at Carnegie Mellon Research Institute in 2001. Peter then worked as a Research Assistant I/II at Princeton University from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Harvard Medical School - BIDMC as a Research Assistant II and Sleep & Brain Imaging Technician until 2006. From 2007 to 2010, Peter worked at The University of Chicago as a Research Project Professional and also pursued a PhD in Cognitive Psychology, which they completed in 2018. Currently, they are a Human Factors Researcher at Cherokee Federal, working with the Federal Aviation Administration since 2019.

From 2010 to 2012, they attended the University of Chicago where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Cognitive Psychology.
In 2006 and 2007, they also attended the University of Chicago and obtained another Master of Arts degree, this time in Social Sciences.
In 2002, they graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science.
