Vicki Taylor Lee, AICP, has extensive experience in zoning and planning, currently serving as Zoning Administrator for Cherokee County since August 2002. In this role, Vicki interprets and applies the Zoning Ordinance and relevant codes, oversees compliance through the Technical Review Committee, and drafts amendments. Prior to this position, Vicki was the Engineering, Planning, and Zoning Administrator for the City of Homewood, Alabama, where responsibilities included managing code enforcement and coordinating public works projects. Vicki's earlier roles include Project Manager at Gay, Strength and Associates, where municipal sewer projects were managed, and Engineer Technician and Project Coordinator at Cecil Jones & Associates, contributing to a significant FAA Airport Improvement Project. Vicki's educational background spans multiple institutions, including the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Jefferson State Community College.
