As executive media director, Matt is responsible for developing media strategies that steer clients toward success and provide improvements to the agency to elevate its services and offerings for clients. He has a strong understanding of the industry and works to identify new opportunities for each account to achieve maximum growth. With over three decades of experience, Matt’s background is vast. He has worked for several international brands and companies such as Samsung, Young & Rubicam, TBWA Worldwide, J. Walter Thompson and Publicis Media. Before joining Chernoff Newman, Matt served as president of global clients for Publicis Media, where he was responsible for the agency’s global and U.S. brands such as Samsung, Emirates Airlines, OMEGA and Macy’s. Previously, he was a board member of the International Advertising Association. Matt’s work has earned him multiple recognitions including a bronze Effie, silver Effie, gold Effie, Grand Pix One Award and a U.S. Festival of Media gold award. He was recognized by The Internationalist Magazine as an innovator for his impact on how brands are perceived by working with new marketing structures. He received this recognition for his work on a collaboration ad with Jay-Z and Samsung. Matt received his bachelor’s degree in physics from the Imperial College London.
