Senior Vice President Of Operations And Business Development at Chenega Security SBU

Terry Nihart has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Terry is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Development at Chenega Security SBU since October 2023. Previously, they held the position of President at Chenega Security International, LLC from October 2022 to October 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Chenega Security SBU as the Vice President of Business Development from October 2020 to October 2022 and as the Senior Director of Business Development from January 2020 to October 2020.

Before joining the private sector, Terry Nihart had a distinguished military career. Terry served as the Chief of Operations at the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command from August 2018 to January 2020 and as the Group Commander at the 701st Military Police Group from July 2016 to July 2018. Terry also held the position of Chief of Operations at the US Army Office of the Provost Marshal General from June 2015 to July 2016.

In their early military career, Terry Nihart served as the Executive Officer to the Commanding General at XVIII Airborne Corps from December 2014 to June 2015 and as the Executive Officer to the Commander, ISAF Joint Command at ISAF from June 2014 to December 2014.

Terry Nihart also gained valuable experience as a student at the National Defense University from August 2013 to June 2014 and as the Battalion Commander at 503d MP BN (ABN) from June 2011 to July 2013.

Prior to their military service, they worked as an Army Staff at the Directorate of Operations, Action Officer from July 2009 to June 2011.

Terry Nihart earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Social Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1994. In 2002, Terry pursued further education, completing a Master's degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida. Lastly, in 2014, Terry obtained a Master's degree in National Security and Resource Strategy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.
