Benjamin de Zwart has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as 2nd Officer at Chemgas Shipping BV since March 2019, working on LPG/C vessels such as Twister, Sundowner, and Ghibli, while also assisting with the construction of these ships. Prior roles include Chief Officer on Danser van Gent's dry cargo coasters (Marietje Nora and Marietje Deborah) and Chief Officer on Royal Wagenborg's MV Zeeland. Initially starting as a 2nd Officer and trainee helmsman on various coasters with Danser van Gent, Benjamin de Zwart's career in shipping has been supported by a solid educational background from Nova College and Helen Parkhurst College. Earlier work experience includes a position as a store worker at Dirk van den Broek.
