Nathan Laan is an experienced Technology, Cybersecurity, and Software Engineering leader currently serving as Technology Manager at Chemelex since January 2025. Previously, Nathan held the position of Technology Manager at nVent, focusing on Thermal Product Cybersecurity and Software Engineering from January 2020 to February 2025. With a strong background in software engineering management at Edmonton Police Service and substantial consulting experience through Laan Consulting, Nathan has successfully scaled teams and enhanced cybersecurity practices. Nathan's entrepreneurial spirit is highlighted by founding and leading financial software and EdTech startups, as well as authoring two books on DevOps principles. Nathan holds an MSc in Computing and Information Science from Athabasca University and a BSc Honors in Computing Science from The King's University.
