Anna Andreou has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and entrepreneurship. Anna is currently the Co-founder and CEO of CheMastery Group Ltd since November 2019. Prior to that, they were a member of the EF LD13 Cohort at Entrepreneur First, where they worked on building startups from scratch and fundraising from top investors. Anna also worked as a Principal Chemist at Deepmatter, responsible for managing chemistry projects and developing chemistry strategies. Anna's research experience includes being a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Glasgow, where they led projects focused on automating complex chemical synthesis and eliminating antibiotic resistance. Anna also worked as a Researcher and PhD student at the University of Cambridge.
Anna Andreou has a strong educational background in the field of chemistry. Anna first pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry with Molecular Medicine from the University of Hull, completing their studies from 2004 to 2008. Anna then furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemistry from the same institution, completing their studies in 2009. Finally, they went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from the prestigious University of Cambridge, completing their studies from 2009 to 2013.
