Jason Lu has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jason is currently working as the CSO/CISO at Chelpis since April 2021. In addition, they hold the position of LiShi at ISC2 Taipei since November 2022 and as a member of TICSC Taiwan Information and Communication Security Service Union since September 2022. Previously, Jason worked as the Deputy Director at the National Taiwan Ocean University from December 2019, and before that as Senior Manager/Security Consultant at the company Dora. Jason also co-founded ECOLUX Technology, where they held the position of CISO/CoFounder and worked from November 2015 until May 2020. Jason Lu has experience in sales as they co-founded Feng'an Smart Technology, where they served as Vice President Sales/CoFounder from September 2007 to October 2015. Starting their career, they worked as a Technical Manager at FOONGTONE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. from June 2000 until August 2007. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Software Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise from June 1998 to June 2000.

From 1990 to 1994, Jason Lu studied at Chung Yuan Christian University and received a bachelor's degree in Information Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Jason Lu has obtained several qualifications. In 2003, they completed the BSI ISMS ISO17799 Implementation Course and became a BS7799 (ISO 27001) Leader Auditor. In 2004, they obtained the TCCF, TWCERT/CC Certified Computer Forensics certification from the Taiwan Computer Emergency Response Team / Coordination Center. Most recently, in January 2021, they acquired the CISM certification from ISACA. Jason Lu also holds a CISSP certification, but specific details about its completion are not provided.
