Nipun Kumar's work experience includes various roles in product design, user experience (UX) design, and strategy. Nipun has held positions at companies such as Chekable, Mastech InfoTrellis, Trianz, Slalom Consulting, Samsung Electronics, Rhode Island School of Design, Abhimanyu Dalal Architects, Atul Kumar and Associates, and Idiom Design and Consulting Ltd.

At Chekable, Nipun is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer, leading efforts to democratize intellectual property and make it more accessible to entrepreneurs with limited upfront funds.

Prior to Chekable, Nipun was the VP of Product Design at Mastech InfoTrellis, where they contributed to product innovation and design.

Nipun also served as the Director of Product Design and Strategy at Trianz, where they led a team of designers and strategists to create customer and enterprise applications, platforms, and services.

Before their role at Trianz, Nipun worked at Slalom Consulting as an Experience Design Principal and Senior UX Designer. At Slalom, they used modern tools, design thinking, and strategies to help clients experiment with emerging technologies and create proof of concepts. Nipun also created rich user experiences for clients across various sectors.

In addition to their experience in the technology industry, Nipun has also worked as a UX Designer at Samsung Electronics, focusing on innovative user experiences for new form factor mobile devices. Nipun has also worked as an Instructor at the Rhode Island School of Design, as well as a Researcher and Architect at Abhimanyu Dalal Architects, where they worked on architectural designs for high-profile clients.

Earlier in their career, Nipun worked as a Consultant and Designer at Atul Kumar and Associates and as a Space/Interior/Retail Designer at Idiom Design and Consulting Ltd., where they contributed to projects such as office spaces, book and music stores, and food courts in a mall.

Throughout their career, Nipun has demonstrated a strong background in product design, user experience, and strategy, working with various clients and industries to drive innovation and enhance customer experiences.

Nipun Kumar obtained a Senior School Certificate (AISSCE) in Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Engineering Drawing from Modern School in 2001. Nipun then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture from C.E.P.T University, studying Architecture and Interior from 2001 to 2007.

In 2008, Nipun Kumar enrolled in the Rhode Island School of Design and completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Digital Media, which they obtained in 2010.

In 2016, Nipun Kumar participated in the Design Leadership Training program at Cooper Professional Education. The following year, they completed an MBA course titled "Essential Business Skills for Designers".

Nipun Kumar continued acquiring knowledge in the field by obtaining additional certifications. In 2017, they became a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, specializing in Agile methodologies. Nipun also achieved a UX Leadership certification through NN/g UX (Nielsen/Norman) in 2018.

Moreover, Nipun Kumar expanded their skills and understanding of the design process by completing the "Design Thinking: Understanding the Process" certification from LinkedIn in March 2018.
