DK Kim is currently the Chief of Staff at Cheil Worldwide. Prior to this, they worked as an Account Executive at McKinney from June 2010 to February 2013. There, they worked with clients such as Samsung Electronics, Hankook Tire, and Samsung SDI.

During their time at McKinney, DK Kim developed a long-term marketing strategy that contributed to more than a 200% increase in team revenue. They were also responsible for increasing brand awareness scores by 180%. Additionally, they managed global accounts and product launches while communicating with worldwide offices and clients. This included producing TV/digital video commercials, print and digital banner creative, from client briefing to launch.

Furthermore, DK Kim was responsible for successful planning and execution of media (TV, radio, print, OOH, digital, social media), while working with media agencies (ZenithOptimedia, Starcom) and multiple vendors. This required them to handle daily account management duties such as SOWs, briefs, cost estimates, schedule management, agency POVs, new opportunity proposals, competitive analysis, billing (AR/AP), job+timesheet management, financial projections, meeting/contact reports, presentations, and research. Additionally, they managed regional PR campaigns and events/product support and sponsorships for local events and organizations.

DK Kim has a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from The Art Institutes and is currently completing coursework for a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University.
